however, after watching Purdue's 3 bigs (6'11, 255 lb Cluff, 7'4, 250 lb Jacobsen and 6'9, 240 lb T.K.Renn) pull down a combined 30 rebounds and put up 38 points against #15 Texas Tech last evening and then watching the Bruin's 3 bigs pull down only a combined total of 3 rebounds against what looked like a church league team, I'm more than a little concerned with what our rebounding will be like when we get into tough and physical conference play. Purdue is probably the best in the conference (Renn averaging 12 boards a game, CLuff 11 a game and Jacobsen around 5 a game) but there are many others in the league who rebound and score well too.
That being said, if the Bruins play tough D and make enough shots though, maybe it won't matter. That's what I'm hoping for.
