The fact was that Mara was getting more minutes. If memory serves, I believe that Mara did indeed start some games but not all of them. I too thought Mara should have been starting. I thought he should have gotten more minutes. There did seem to be an issue of Mara tiring so there's that.
All indications were pointing to Mara starting and getting huge minutes the following season but Mara couldn't wait or his head was turned by a bigger money offer. The latter makes more sense to me.
The rumors of tampering are still out there and they look like they aren't going to go away anytime soon. That also makes sense to me. None of the explanations really sound "kosher." It all smells to me like something is rotten in the state of Denmark.
