How many times does it have to be pointed out that most of those 17 wins were against cupcakes (teams with losing records and FBS schools). Chip was paid $4.6 million in 2022 and $6.1 million in 2023. He was well paid to beat good teams, not mediocre/bad teams. In no way was UCLA trending upward against good teams and you know it. Chip was treading water his last two years at best. You seem to give Chip all the credit in the world for each win, but have a library of excuses for why the loses aren't his fault. It's the lack of NIL, it's the career bureaucrats in Morgan. It is the lack of support from we ungrateful fans. How is it that you assign almost no blame to Chip for his career .500 record at UCLA? Yes, I know he was one game over five hundred, but let's not quibble.
You also like to drone on about how the rest of us are mindless sheep for not seeing Chip's coaching genius. How is it that you think you are smarter than everyone else on this board? You also seem to believe your opinions are more informed than everyone else's even when your "facts" are refuted.
Honest question here. If you think Chip is so great why not just switch to an Ohio St. board? You are not going to convince us that Chip was a good coach and we are clearly not convincing you that he was a bad coach. Maybe you are a just a troll and then your responses make sense. If you are not a troll and truly believe everything you are saying then I do not understand why you stay on this board.
