The players and Foster said what they're supposed to say when publicly asked to comment on Chip -- pollitically correct. I doubt anyone wants Chip back. And Chip's narrative that he left because he was tired of the off-field responsibility of a head coach is pure fiction. Chip quit because he was facing another failing season, the fans and media were sick of him, and he was certain to be fired at the expiration of his buyout after the season. His ego woudn't allow him to be fired from yet another head coaching position. Good riddance.
