I don't blame Chip for leaving - he did what he thought was right for him. So be it.

I blame Jarmond for being caught flat-footed. He could've forced the issue with Chip in December the moment the rumors started popping up, by having him publicly commit to the team, and if he refused to do that 1) either firing him for cause, or 2) having a proper back-up plan at the ready.

It was a profound failure of both management and leadership. If Frenk re-committed to Jarmond he's more of a fool than I expected.
