You're funny. So you you went right to your specific religion. I know what faith is, and faith does not equal evidence or facts.
There have been contemporary witnesses to George Washington and other historical figures. There's tons of evidence of his historicity. Not much of that for your precious messiah - outside of the 4 gospels, which the authors are anonymous, there are only a handful of writers (Tacitus, Josephus, etc.) that mention jesus, who mainly just parrot what early christians said. There's no evidence that 500 or whatever believers saw his resurrection - that's something the Bible claims but is not backed up historically. jesus may have been a historical figure, but that's a far cry from his supposed divinity. Many of j's miraculous stories are probably copies from earlier pagan and secular traditions.
the buy bull is full of historical errors, contradictions, and other claims that can't be backed up. The supposed prophecies fulfilled are subjective at best. The story is not consistent or original. It's also pretty immoral. People may perpetuate the story based on their upbringing, indoctrination, dogma and fear, but it doesn't make the scriptures any more true. And consider xtianity has been on a steady decline in the U.S. the past 4-5 decades - fewer believers.
Back to your original point - you said that your god is the only reason you have air in your lungs. Show evidence that's factually true without copping out on faith. Yes, you don't have to prove squat to anyone, but that just makes your assertion invalid. A baseless claim.
