It goes both ways.

Other than John Stewart and George Clooney, they ignored obvious signs in Biden. It wasn't until he was dying in the polls that the scales fell from their eyes.

Republicans see it. They just don't want to admit it.

20% of Republicans already dislike Trump and he's barely been in office.
