We saw the tapes. We know what we saw.
- she was not running over him
- he was not in any danger of being run over
- you can see him drawing his gun as the car is moving,
- he shot her while she was getting away, which includes the first shot
- by the third shot, he was running with the car, so very clearly he was not the one in any danger at all
- shooting at people running away and/or moving vehicles is against ICE code of operations
- he shot her because he's a sick f*ck who should never have been given a gun
- other than his hurt ego, what reason was there to shoot her? If he was convinced that she's going to run over him, he could have simply gotten out of the way (instead of putting his effort into drawing his gun and aiming at her head). Once he gets out of the way, they get her license plate number and then pick her up at home in the evening. Issue resolved without any violence.
But no. The violence is the thing, That's why this sick f*ck and all the other sick f*cks that signed up for this job did so in the first place.
Don't try to justify murder, my man. Oh, and
Can law enforcement be expected to make rational decisions in such a short time frame after being struck by a vehicle?
Yes. Yes. Yes. A f*cking thousand times yes. That's why they are entrusted with a gun and given the right to shoot at people. What we expect in return is that they make sound decisions in split second especially when the situation does not involve someone who's *not* pointing a gun at them at the other end and *after* (just for the argument's sake) they're "struck". If they can't do that, they need to get out of the business of pointing their gun at people.
It's absolutely ridiculous that these people who are pretend to be big powerful manly men with guns strutting on our streets are such scaredy little sh*ts that a 37 year old woman just starting to drive in their general direction, while presumably still at the equivalent of the first gear, gives them these fits of fear that hey have to take three shots at them, even as they're chasing after the victim.
They should either find the courage to do their jobs right or quit altogether, while you, my friend, should find a way to get your priorities straight and consider getting back in touch with whatever humanity you had in you before you discovered politics.
