Mara had developed to the point that his rim protecting ability altered how opponents played offense. He has great potential as he becomes stronger and better conditioned physically. I think that CMC's narrow box misplayed him and kept him on the bench. I think that if a Walton or Kareem walked through the door, CMC wouldn't know how to use him in his inflexible style.
