You live in a different universe. You're saying bringing in guys like Hickman, Harwell, Price, Brown and they don't make the NFL is bad recruiting but good development? You're in an alternate world.
Who else could he have developed better? Ware came in as one of the top athletes in the country.
Dorrell doesn't get credit for recruiting Christian Taylor? Ya, that makes a lot of sense. Anything to try to defend your point, right?
Yes, Joe Cowan, Breazell, and Everett caught a lot of balls. That's pretty damn good by UCLA standards. If you're going to measure UCLA receivers by their NFL careers, how many decent receivers have we recruited in the last 30 years?
Yep, Olson was not an NFL QB. But, no one in the country understood that. And, it was a recruiting coup to land him. Or, are you going to say no one wanted Olson?
And, you haven't mentioned All-Conference Reggie Carter or All-Conference Chris Horton.
And, somehow Akeem Ayers has been left out of the discussion. He was a Dorrell recruit. All Conference, 2nd team AA.
You ripped Markey. He's 9th all time for UCLA rushing yards. So, ya, by Dorrell recruiting standards, he was jag. Yet, 9th in career rushing yards for UCLA while sharing backfield duties with Mo Drew.
And, take Bell: Three-star selection by Scout.com ... Ranked No. 55 player in California by scout.com. And, you're calling him a nobody. Came in and was the Sun Bowl MVP ... his Freshman year. Ya, terrible recruit. Waste of a scholarship.
