Is AI cyber BS?

Investors are pouring billions of $$ into data centers, which I assume will use AI to make everything work faster, better and at lower costs.

But can AI be trusted? Recent reports of the most advanced LLM's going "rogue" are unsettling. Will cyber-security firms be able to keep up withe the LLM creators? Will these uncertainties delay or halt the construction of data centers? In other words, will AI live up to its hype, or will history judge it to be another economic boom that collapsed in an equally spectacular bust?
