A bit OT: As some may know, we also follow my wife's Michigan team and what they are doing in their reloading effort after losing much of their championship team. What they have accomplished with the three front line players they have brought in from the portal is exceptional (6'11, 6'10 and 7'2--all very good starting caliber players and there still is a possiblity that Johnson will return). Wish the Bruins were doing as well. But of course they are two different schools, two different coaching philosophies, and two different approaches to team building. So the results will always be different.
Getting back to the Bruins, it's looking like the chance of the Baylor wing/guard pulling out of the draft and playing college ball is diminishing (reported on several podcasts). If that's so, my wish is that Cronin spends the NIL money saved on another wing and a big center and at least one of them with starter's potential. But wishing for those sorts of things is the fun part (and sometimes the disappointing part) of the recruiting process for most of us Bruin fans.
