A giant antiquated stadium with one long-term tenant that uses it 6 times a year and wants out of its contract, a fanbase and general public that has shown apathy for the program, the stadium, and the poor gameday experience such an antiquated stadium provides, one not-so-grand-grandaddy of a game a year. and a smattering of other odd events throughout the year, with all that and such a bright prognosis for the future, I can't imagine there being any possible roadblocks to securing the funding they need. At some point the City of Pasadena is going to acknowledge that its most famous landmark is no longer quite so famous as it once was and questioned whether they should continue to leverage the future by continuing to approve more bonds to spruce up what has become a relic of the past It kind of reminds of old episodes of the Antiques Roadshow, where they show an item on an episode 25 years ago that was worth a ton of money and then update it with it's present value, which due to dwindling interest and market demand is now a fraction of what it was back then.
